We met in Innsbruck, Austria and moved to Atlanta, GA, soon after graduation but Cashiers, NC has been one of our favorite spots since the beginning. We want our guests to love it as much as we do and enjoy the surrounding mountain area all weekend long. The wedding ceremony is in Cashiers, but Lake Glenville is a quick 10 minute drive northwest and Highlands is a 15 minute drive south. Hike

  • High Falls Waterfall @ Lake Glenville

    .7 mile one way. Moderate to difficult. All downhill to the two-tier waterfall. Many stone steps. North on Highway 107 for 6.3 miles. Drive through Glenville. Turn right on Pine Creek Road and travel 2 miles. Parking on right.

  • Whiteside Mountain

    2 mile loop. Moderate difficulty. Stunning panoramic views of the mountains from multiple vantage points. Located between Cashiers and Highland’s off Highway 64 at Whiteside Mountain Road (also the entrance to Wildcat Country Club).

  • Silver Run Falls

    0.1 Miles. Easy. *Not pictured. 4 miles south of Cashiers on Hwy 107. Waterfall into a beautiful tree lined pool, perfect for swimming.

  • Rainbow & Turtleback Falls

    1.6 miles one way. Moderate to difficult. Located in Gorges State Park off Hwy 281 (10 miles east of Cashiers)

  • Whitewater Falls Trail

    Tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi River. Great parking and easy access to view this stunning waterfall. Very easy walk to view the falls (1/4 mile) or walk to the base of the falls (1 mile).
